The blurred lights really add to the carnival atmosphere. Great use of negative space by using lots of foreground. I realize you needed lots of foreground to get the whole reflection but not everyone would have realized that. The crop at the top might be a tad too tight.

very nice image like the reflection and lighting seems to me just a little cold to be riding a merry-go-round but kids seem to love the cold for they are usually active enough to not feel it so much.

The wonderful rich colors and time of day and, of course, the rain, all added up to such a neat photo opportunity. You were in the right place at the right time. Carnivals like this can offer so many unique photos, I hope you took lots of shots. You did a nice job of cropping this and I am pleased that you didn't zoom in too far. I think it is important to see the entire carousel. Nice job!
