While you may think you've lost your focus, I don't think you have! I love the image. I like her working her eyes on her boots, I love the intimate feel to the image, created largly by your great lighting here. This is a 'WOW' image in my book.

Composition: excellent. there's only the highlight on top right that is a little too important and takes away attention from the subject
lighting: excellent side light, good contrast and the shadow do not affect the beauty of the subject

The lighting here is just stunning -- especially the way the light travels across the wall before striking the subject. I was unsure at first about the concentration of light on the hands & hem, but the more I look, the more sure I am that it conveys the mood of "waiting" very well. Have you thought about burning in a bit just below that? Ther's a lighter triangle of fabric (or maybe a foot) which might be nicer just a touch darker.
