Dear Shirley, This has a Infrared feel to it!
Wonderful lighting that really sculps the face!
I love it! I read in a magazine about a week ago
explaning how to achieve this effect in PS. I followed along with it as best as I could. They sure did not make it easy and I did not do everything by the book but I got close and liked the effect.....Im going to try it again soon.
I just now learned how to use actions. Well how to load them anyways so that is what Im working on now. I had a friend send me some Ps actions and almost tossed them out cause I could not get them to work then was told how to load them......lol still not 100% sure how to use them but I think Im starting to grasp a bit of it. lol

Very nice image Shirley. Sharp where it should be. Nice composition. Very natural looking pose and great B&W conversion. I would liked to have seen a tad more detail in the face but my monitor is a bit contrasty so that may not be a valid comment - Just a lovely image.
