I do like the bow of the boat up over the horizon line. That adds a real sense of motion for me. The tones are wonderful. Congratulations on bIP.

Hello Hanggan. Lovely tones, seems like a brownish duotone, and a good management of light/exposure. The composition is suffering from the lack of symmetry. I guess this is a good example of a photograph where the subject should be perfectly centered (which is in contradiction with basic photographic rules, but who cares, anyway...). I guess the prow should be slightly to the left, which is now impossible, unless you're willing to crop 1cm on the left handside. Oh, a bit of contrast wouldn't hurt either.

BTW what did you 'clone out' on the left horizon... ;-D... you should color in some of the squares with a darker tone... then no one would know...

Yes, Fabrice; I intentionally wait and ducked a little bit to view the boat's end above the horizon; to show the movement of big waves we were facing at the time. Well in this picture, the wave were en route to our boat...:)

The sky is absolutely fantastic in this shot Hanggan, and the tones superb. I'm asking me to the pov you choose to let the boat on the upper part of the horizon or not. the choice you did gives a feeling of motion which is nice in your photo and I'm not sure that if you have choose to see all the horizon, the effect will be the same. But the problem is that the eyes are attracted and kept in the boat and the great sky and the perspective are therefore not highlighted.
Anyway this is a nice work
