Megan.. now your Sony CyberShot 707 is displaying grain, as you have to do night time shots. In other words noise. I am not certain if you have the options to do a Noise reduction. Alternatively you can use a software called "NeatImage" from http://www.neatimage.com/ which i took your image and applied it.. see the results and difference.. it removes the grain and noise.. and you have to be careful as how you apply it..

Very cool Megan. I knew you were looking down Whitehall, but the road in the front threw me, but then of course zoomed in everything is compressed together. Great work!.

Heather, good guess - you are less than 2 miles out :)
Actually, I was standing in front of Nelson's Column at Trafalgar Sq, looking towards Whitehall. The top streak of white light is from the top deck of a double decker bus that went past. I was interested to see how transparent the rest of the bus was - the difference between the building above the bus and cars as against the section showing through it is less than I was expecting.

Very cool shot Megan. Its great how the light trails frame the view of Big Ben in the distance. I also like how your camera picked up the starburst effect of the street lights. Great work.
