Hi. I am kinda new here in usefilm and this is the first time I see your portfolio. First let me talk about this very photo I am leaving a comment for, body. I like the idea, the contrast and the tone. Especially that it’s B&W. But I think the composition is not good. And that’s what makes this photo a mediocre one. You could have zoomed back a little and added a door frame or a table or something to the photo. Putting the subject in the center of the photo, as you know, is not professional. By what I told you, you could have created a good and acceptable depth of view too and that’s another thing that this photo does lack. Now let me talk about your other photos generally. You are professional in finding ideas for taking pictures. Some complain that we hardly can find subjects to take pictures of, but your portfolio is like a slap in the face, a forward push. You take picture of simplest things that hardly come into anybody’s mind. Different self-portrait of yours in backlight mode or “Die” and the “untitled” which I adore, are all good examples for what I am saying. So you’ll never stop photographing because you’ll always have things or people around you to photograph eccentrically. And don’t worry. When there is nobody around you, you have you ;) The more I see Iranian portfolios, the more I come to know that we lack techniques in photography. Harsh light or sometimes the opposite, absence of enough light are seen in most of your photos which I think should be taken care of ASAP. It’s not only the idea of an individual’s art that attracts others. IT IS HOW THEY PERFORM IT. Otherwise the idea of Titanic would have been published in papers in two lines and that’s it. But you see that people like Titanic for its details, for the good quality, for how the story is being told. When you read a novel what absorbs you? Only the story or the story AND how it’s written? I think now you get me clearly. Some of your photos need the noise that they contain and some don’t. For those that don’t, use Ninja Noise to remove them. Or there are different filters and plug-ins in Photoshop that will surly help you. Too long my comment is getting. I am sorry. See my photos too, though they are not many, and feel free to write me. Now I am going to see the portfolio of those who usually leave you comments. By the way I do like” My Sun” very much. The contrast and the pose are both perfect.
Not as good as your previous postings but I still wanted to say I like your work. Your portfolio is filled with excellent B&W work that proves you have a real eye for composition and a creative imagination. Well done, I shall be watching your work with interest :)
