Very effective use of the wide angle, Dave. I really like the emphasized foreground -- For years I had no idea what the real power of a wide angle could be. It's all about the foreground!
Not much flare for a zoom lens into the sun. Did you clone out flare or was it not there? Did you use a grad ND filter, or add a gradient after? There's another place I'll have to visit.
