Your comment on one of my photos "Target Life" is kind. It is delightful to know that there are people out there who ?understand? my world and how I see it. My work is to please myself, not others who find it boring and pointless. This photograph is part of a series I?m working on. Please take a look at a photograph in my portfolio named ?Newark?. I think you?ll piece together my intent.
I saw your photograph "kitty cat" last evening and to be honest the more I look the more I'm compelled to it. It is truly haunting! I feel and see myself in an attic of an old home, and while rummaging through old clothes, this photograph slips out and lands before my feet. Now it is time to continue imagining.

Something else you might want to try with SX-70 is manipulating the image while the emulsion is soft. Use a hard pointy object then paint on the image by pushing hard. The emulsion is soft enough to be able to be pushed around. This creates a neat effect.

the funkiness of polaroid used well. that cat looks like it could rip your head off, or scratch a photo very well. Fun image. I like the scratches and raggedy crop, all together they make you imagine a funny story from an animal with obvious character
