They are quite busy little creatures, aren't they? The product of their efforts does look like lace. This is a great close-up and shows the filaments of their 'lace; so well. Super shot.

Alison this is really fantastic, what a great image, love the dof and the details, are they really that color? Beautiful image, I was thinking that was a spider web and was going to start looking for a place to hide...LOL...excellent patterns in nature image dear...:)
