Hi again Aniko...:) I fully understand everything you have said and seems we approch photography in very much the same mannor which is nice! I have had to do many of my images the same way. Its better to do these things to an image that has some type of quality or something about it that catches our eyes to save the image from forever deleations sort of speak. Also its funny how after re processing such images we seem to create unique art images that somehow become some of the best of all our images! This has happened more than a few times for me. Remember however I am just a beginner. Sometimes its very hard for me to put into words just what Im thinking or feeling. I am however having the time of my life learning the art of photography and using photo shop and other image software! Sooooo many things to learn and do! Its wild and fantastic! I'm just now learning about layers, but don't have that much control yet over the process. Would love to one day take some classes to better my processing skills......:) Maybe someday! Right now I'm having a hard time getting camera equipment that Id like to have!! Would love a med format camera next! I been looking at some and finding out ....wow, that is a whole other world! I never thought they would come in sooooo many peices!!! lol The future is bright .........:) Just need me one of them there money trees!!! hehe
Take care Aniko my friend, it was very nice hearing from you again........
Your friend and fellow shutterbug
Paul

Thank you Paul I don't agree with ennio's comment either, but mostly because I feel it was not constructive criticism. I don't expect everyone to say "oh wow... that's great" if they don't like an image I have created. But indeed, there is technically nothing wrong with my image. I love high key (and low key and anything inbetween photography), and I am a much sought after photographer especially for my creative efects in weddings and other portraiture.
Believe me, Paul. The original infrared image of this bride was not awesome. It was not up to my "standard" that I set for myself. I am sure you understand the difficulties that come with infrared photography.. sometimes we must use "guesstemation" as to exposure etc...
The other infrared shots from this same wedding worked rather well. The reason I post pprocessed this image was that I really liked the expression on the model's face and did not wish to "lose" it. For me, it is now a satisfactory image.
Thank you for your support and encouragement, Paul. Much appreciated. Sincerely, Aniko :)

Aniko....I don't agree with Ennio this is really beautifully processed! I just love it! As a lover of infrared photography I would have love to seen this one before you colored it! I bet it was awsome! I love the color and detail stand out from the flesh. A wonderful job of highkey Photography .......
Congrats on a great work!

I feel your comment is a little harsh, ennio. However I appreciate it is your subjective opinion. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and not everyone agrees with the other's.

Thanks Jan. I couldn't agree more. I was not entirely happy with the infrared image (though others from the same shoot worked well). However, I very much liked the expression on this bride's face, so photoshop saved the day!
Thank you for your kind comments.
Warm Wishes, Aniko :)

Interesting and beautiful effect. In fact, the Photshop work cancelled out the infrared effects but, being familair with the infrared, I think you achieved a much better result by applying the post-shot changes. Congrats. on the final result. --Jan

Many Thanks Paul! I am currently "funning" in photoshop (right now... lol...) As much as I am fond of "straight" shots, I so enjoy artistic experimentation at every opportunity.
