Superbe John-Eric, des deux images je préfère celle-ci. Plus de détailles.
Lors d'une voyage en France, j'étais au port de Marseille, au quai principal à contempler un vieux galion espagnole, semblable à celui que vous nous présentez, et un français s'est approché de moi et me dit "Vous savez ces merveilleux vaisseaux ont coûté des forets d'arbres pour les construire, les forets espagnole du temps on vue leur réserve de bois s'effrité pour ces splendides GALION qui ont servi à plusieurs conquêtes, et celui-ci toujours debout est ici pour le tournage d'un film" et il me dit plus tard que ce navire valait des 10 @ 15 millions de dollars aujourd'hui.

Beautifully done here J-E . . . I'll not mention the horizon since I KNOW you know to watch that but the color version here has that completely different feel I mentioned. While I prefer the B&W I should say it's almost like comparing apples and oranges. This has an innate beauty all it's own! I think on a personal level, I'd adjust light levels for the sky to desaturate some of the blue and make it a stronger cloud image . . . since the PS addition of the sky was such a dramatic change I'd venture to say that a little less bluishness might not be all that difficult for somebody with your skills to do! ;)
But these minor "Tweaks" are really a matter of personal preference . . . this is a REAL improvement over the original and I'm glad to see you kept at it! Awesome. And Lisa said it best . . . "...no image more beautiful than a tall ship on the ocean." (Most of us men MIGHT be able to think of ONE thing more beautiful . . . I'm guessing . . . but still . . .) :)

I'm amazed at how different this image looks with the manipulations you made. I wish I was this talented that I could achieve this. Maybe one day. I have a few images of tall ships in my portfolio that I would like to try something like this someday.

I don't see the original image attached.
Wonderful glassy look of the ocean. I was hoping the tall ships would be coming into the Port of Los Angeles this year, but I guess that's not going to happen.
