Hi Paul, It has all been trial and error for me. Still working on the post processing, The grain is an issue for me. I focus with the filter on, using auto focus. The longer my shutter speed, the better my photos with less post processing, I have tred to zoom in a bit and use a selected focus but the photos seem to come out very soft. as if the camera cant locate my subject. The filter seems to work best on my camera with the auto focus on in potriat mode set at a cloudy day. Sorry not much help! Sincerely, Sandra
Yes me too Sandra! And learning how to process the IR photos as well.....I love it! The great dream like colors and quality you get with IR. I tried to do some outdoor portraits the other week with the same filter I use but I must have thrown off the focus trying to get the filter on. lol Do you focus and then put on the filter? I thought that was the only way as you can't see anything with the filter on but then I read where some or all cameras would fucus with the filter on but you just could not see. Can't really remmember. Guess Ill have to try unless you can shed alittle light on the subject for me.
Thanks for the thanks....( What did I just say)! Anyways, I recon you know what I mean.....
This is such a stunner Sandra!!! Beautiful colors and superbly composed! You have created a masterful IR image....:) Dosen't get much better than this one!
