hi, stunning action shot!...the Blue Angels are due to my area this Summer and i would love to shoot them,but my max is 300mm...may see if any camera shops will let me rent at least a 400mm...

would you be so kind to remove 2 of my unsuccessful uploaded comments in one forum?...i tried to place a html code cartoon image as a reply and it didn't work...i am low on the techie totem and just assumed it would work here like on other sites....live n' learn,eh?...Thanks,gayle

Hi Jeroen,

Quite an impressive action shot. I do think that you can remove the purplish wash over the photo by tweaking the individual levels using the hue/saturation tool in Photoshop.

Here's what I did: I increase the saturation of the red levels by +34, and changed the hues of the blue levels by -20, and increased the saturation of the blue levels by 15. That should result in the following photo:
