I think it is due some more words, about this shot.
This is, by purpose , a shocking image.In any site we try to show beauty,seldom the reality, hard and harsh. I like this reality, photograph is not only to make us feel good.The photographer I bow to, Sebastião Salgado, never tried to please , but to hit , with reality. Car crash is civil war.In Portugal, is worst than USA and UK casualties.People must realise, accidents are not only for the next guy.One of us could be, maybe, tomorrow , in a car that. Dead.I survived ,chance,safety belt,auto industry improved cell construction.I?m a good , fast driver.I have racing experience.But when cables- horn,lights,blinker - became wrap around the steering making it useless, our skill is no help This is possible, this was possible.
