Backward, forwards, I don't mind how you get here, thanks for making the effort Marcus, glad you found it worthwhile!
I would like to try to get a view from the other side before it goes, but with railway lines and flyovers in the way it might not be possible.

Hi Bruce, I guess I working my way backwards in your portfolio :) this is a very strong architectural scene, the nice lighting and srong tones and detail are excellent, I like the perspective very much, very nice..

Thanks Mary, its quite close to where I live, but I seldom go that way so was surprised the other day to see how much had gone. Had to go back the next day & try to capture a little bit of the area's history.

You really have captured something so worthwhile and so atmospheric. The colours and the shapes brilliant- and sad it is the end!

Yes it is impressive. I went inside a few years ago after it had been decomissioned and the rooms were massive. No chance of doing that now that it is being demolished. Thanks for stopping by Shleg.

Thanks James, no I couldn't get any closer, as a demolition site it is fenced off. This was taken about an hour & a half after sunset so it was pretty dark, but there was enough ambient light to bring out the details with iso 400 & the 30 second exposure. The orange in the tree is from a nearby light.

Wonderful structure. The yellow tree on the left is a bit out of place, but no getting around it because all three objects should be in the shot. Were you able to get closer to take other pictures?
