About	Went out to eat at a fantastic Japanese steakhouse last night. Food was incredible! In the bar area they had wall hangings with rope light behind to create a glow. Thought I'd try to capture the feel.

Almost like a desert landscape in silhouette after the last rays of the dying sun have left the sky. Just rework your orientation and curvature.

Of course diagonals are always great, Jacob. Hope you got my comment on the ceiling shot...it is fantastic!

Yeah, it didn't really work as well as I wanted. It was soo dark in there that I really needed a tripod or something. I tried setting it on the table (ala the ceiling photo) but it was the wrong angle, so I had to take an underexposed photo handheld at as low a shutter as I could with the lens wide open and hope for the best. I bumped my ISO up as high as I dared too, much higher and the noise would have been DISGUSTING! There's not much color, but I really like the lines in this shot.
