Another lovely moment caught sweetie and like the flying pigs has put a smile on my face whilst smiles are in short supply just now. Beautifully detailed with great tones and an excellent photographic opportunity well executed. All the best my dear Marlyce.....Ray

Thank you Jacob. She was a dairy cow, no mistaking. It was very hot and all the animals were pretty tired during the hot part of the day, I think he was giving her some comfort.

I had the same . . . longing look, and peace, when stroking MY cow . . . I spent the day looking forward to seeing My cow and looked forward to enjoying our joining together that evening! Now, MY cow and I are inseparable! Thanks for the memories!

Our fair is coming up in two weeks. I've been looking forward to wondering through the barns with my camera. Hugo has inspired me with his cow shots. Have you seen them yet?
You captured a great moment here.

Aww! Nothing like the connection formed between man and animal I say. A very sweet and innocent moment. Good thing this looks like a dairy animal, so it won't be auctioned.
Great job! :-D J

First thank you for your time Marlyce. I don't blame Doyle wanting to come back as one of your critters either. My last best friend a lab, this too was always said to me. I love animals almost ...well honestly more than people. I just relate to them + know they are exactly what they apppear. No more , no less... You sound like 'snow white' or BETTER with a wonderful life + 400+ pets ! This would be heaven but I do know it is a lot of work too. Kinda sounds like you might have a city farm already ! BTW don't think anyone of my cousins or myself could eat our dinner that night. We were in 'total shock and confusion' ...no one spoke, no one ate. Growing up even with the best of life is wierd. If I was left with no store, I could only grow vegtables... and fruit... can't even fish. I can , but I hate to catch them.... Salmon is Big up here , like 50lbs. and feeds you well for the winter...
Goodnight my friend, Michele~

Michele, this might give you the best insight to me and my critters....Doyle wants to come back in his next life as one of my pets. Even all my breeder animals are so spoiled that when you walk outside they beg. The guinea pigs and rabbits actually sit up and beg! I have never spent a day without at least 2 pets, now however the number is over 400 (counting 4 frogs).

Marlyce this is what keeps her so young I believe. I would do anything for my pets before I would even get food for myself...Sounds like You've vey good genes + also explains why you are energetic afeter a 12 + hour work day ! Like coming home is the END of work ! Ha ! Michele~

Michele, Grandma always saved dinner til we came in. My dream is to move to 40 acres and raise all my own critters. When I asked Doyle for a pig (and we live in the city), he got me a guinea pig---just not fair! My mother has two horses now and she still works a 40 hour job, she feeds and cleans before work and then feeds, cleans and grooms after work, then she has dinner (about 9PM)

Lets not talk about time now Marylce. It was really best you never had your own cow. The evening dinner my cousins and I were supposed to eat left one of us with-out a dear friend to groom. Michele~

Thank you Michele, my FAVORITE part of the fair is the animal barns. I never had a cow, but as a child I would visit my great grandparents in Kansas and would go with my great grandpa to milk the cows in the morning and evening. That was a very long time ago.
