Hi B , No All of my shots this time was set at 1600, But it was around 2 or 3 when i took the shots so earl morn or later in the evening you might can use a lower ISO, Ill try to get some shots with a lower ISO and see what i can do. Thanks be.
Thanks Paul. My settings are ISO 1600, Shutter 1/1250, Aperture F5.6, Meter spot, W/B Auto, I had the sun at my back so it lit up the feeder real good. I sat in a chair and waited for them to come to feed and took thses shots by hand holding my camera, I focused the lens by manual setting , I used a 300mm zoom lens and pulled it in all the way. Good luck Paul and let me know when get some Hummer Pics . Earl
Very nice capture of the hummer Earl. I trid a few times last year when I first got my camera but did not have quit this much success. Hopefully This year I can put to use alittle more knowledge And come away with this type of shot! I think shooting location my be the biggest problem as I'm shooting right off my back porch so I have no light coming from behind me, its all in front. The porch is covered too! This is really a nice shot. COlors and stopping action! What ISO were you shooting at?
