About This image (0946) was shot in Discovery Park on 11 June 2006.

The greens are tree bows (pine needles), the tans are tree trunks, and the blues are a kind of American music developed early in the 20th century.

This image has been auto-contrasted, shrunk, resized, and I added the matting. That's all.

As usual, your questions and comments are welcome.

Ian - Thanks. This one strikes me as containing pieces of light.

Oh yes! Soft yes though the three dimensionality of it is really nice, I could almost touch it.

Hi James,
This might have been one of the images that my recent post was subliminaly influenced by.

I feel this kind of image almost goes well in the current project of Peace and Tranquility. There is something very soothing about this kind of image.

Mohamed - I can see why it would appear like a curtain flowing in the wind. Thanks for your comment.

Ed - I chose to use the word Soft because this image evokes memories of silk threads or warm hair or the branches on a feather. Thanks for stopping by.

Roger - Thank you for being candid. At this point I really want to get a wide variety of work up to give some indication of the breadth of my most recent work.

It's always interesting to me which pictures get how much attention. It is often quite different from which ones I think are the best.

Ciao.

Almost a fabric like texture and tone, James. It is truly abstract and pleasant to view!

yeah nice one James a tad more abstract than it needs to be in the sense that we have no sense of trees... umm dont get me wrong I like the image but it would not hold my fascination for as long as some of your other werk..

Rahil - Thank you. There is a lot going on in this one, but still it is simple. I'm glad you like it.
