What a wonderful sky and i love the way you have a piece of the roof jutting into it adding a nice abstract shape to the otherwise soft textured clouds. Nicely balanced, and the helicopter is a wonderful detail. Alison

You're kind to comment and I have to say I agree about the cyan faming. Once uploaded it seemed brighter to my eye than was good . . . too distracting. Not an issue with the color . . . but perhaps it COULD have been muted some! Good call and good critique!

Wow! What a sky! Awesome colors of the nature. I thought the framing could have heen a simple black or simple white..the cyan frame kind of hits eye somewhat IMHO.

Thanks Nick . . . No, you cannot edit the image because that would be unfair to the people who have commented. You can re-upload a reworked image. Imagine if you had left a comment about how great my photo of a volcano was ("Love the beautiful molten texture of this subject matter that has always been beautiful to me") and I replaced the photo with a photo of a wad of gum melted into a hot sidewalk! Or a cartoon by Dr. Seuss imitators using chalk on a white fence.... or whatever. You lose control of comments once made . . . changing the image, therefore, would be unfair.

Oh, but don't even think that the photo is not great with the helicopter unremoved. And while we are at it, isn't there any way to edit/replace a photo here, much the way we can edit its data (apperture etc) after the upload? I can imagine that this could be a very good way to improve photos?

oh,i thought that was an ant that went splat on your scanner!(the chopper)..LOL..my first thought about the sky was that it reminded me of a straight version of Van Gogh's Starry Night painting...the antenna silhouette lends a poetic touch...hahaha...seriously tho',the house silhouettes ground the shot...nice perspective and slammin' hues!

Good that you mentioned the helicopter, Doyle. At first I was rubbing my screen thinking that there was some dirt or an insect on it:-))))
A beautiful sky with wonderful cloudy patterns and surprising with this flying object:-) Maybe you should get a helicopter in order to avoid rush-hour if you often get stuck in traffic!
