What a terrific capture. Love the fine detail on the hatchling. Looks like a cast of early morning sun on the nest and it really gives the photo a feeling of warmth. Great stuff.

I debated this shot Mary, every time I see it I start to lose my lunch! LOL But it fit in with this short series, so it was something that should be seen, I think (?) We have cherries and blueberries ripening, and these guys are gluttonous! Thanks for taking the time to comment. -john
