Thank you for your observations, dear Marija. The pattern you see is a seagull feather submerged in the water. The glow are bubbles trapped under the feather, between the "hairs".

Very interesting macro, Fransisco! the pattern of the background is lovely and gives the image a special touch. Am I seeing a certain amount of glow here? or is it the reflection of the light?
