Thans for the comments Doyle. He definitely is an interesting person, caught in one of his more interesting moments. But he trully is a great, intelligent guy...despite what his hair might tell you. :-)

I see what you mean about the dynamicism in this shot, but honestly something about the flatness it shows grabbed my attention. The tones were done to sort of emulate a newspaper-esque feeling.

I appreciate the quality feedback, thanks a ton.

Ummmmm . . . yeah . . . well . . . as Kambiz mentioned . . . I guess shooting him would probably be a bad idea. Yeah! That's right. Oh dear God help me I agree with Kambiz!!! Don't shoot this man (except with a camera)!

"Send him to Iraq or Afghanistan." . . . the world is righting itself yet again . . . I DON'T agree now . . . I think that's probably a BAD idea . . . Woooo Hooo . . . my world is normal again!!

Well I don't know if I could critique the technical merits of your photo better than Kambiz did . . . wait a minute . . . I JUST DID!! I MENTIONED the photo!

I feel like the crop throws off the composition. The rule of 1/3s still applies and a better crop would give more dynamism to this shot. I won't comment on the hair style since it's not related to the merits of the shot and I already had such fun with Kambiz . . . IMO, also, a slight tweak of midtones and lighting would help too. Looks like an interesting person.

Don't shoot him.
Send him to Iraq or Afganistan. Then he would see so many dead people that he conclude to BE a responsible toward his life and others.
I bet you after JUST few hours there. he would CHANGE his mind in a second of a being A DEAD MEAT!
