A difficult bloom to capture John-Eric but you have done very well in this study of an hibiscus. The stamen contains so many elements to it that unless a lens is closed down sufficiently details get muddled or lost. Although just a little soft I love what I see here; a perfect dof; beautiful rich tones; great clarity and good details. Well done to you my friend.....All the best....Ray

John-Eric . . . the colors and the comp are ok but (to my eye) the focal clarity seems to be a bit soft. The 60mm Micro should have handled this easily so I'm not sure why . . . (surely this wasn't handheld) . . . It'd be worth another go if it were me because other than the focus I can find no issues . . .
Anyway . . . I think it has a lot of potential . . .
:)

This looks quite alien. It is through images like this that we get to notice things in our enviroment that we would ordinarily overlook. Thank you. Cathy
