Well Done Mitra! I like the POV here very much. I see the sharpen issue mentioned earlier and would mention that you should check into the unsharp mask as it has less issues with use than sharpen does. Compsition-wise . . . my opinion is the walker is to close to the right side of the shot . . . need some more space (IMO) behind the walker. While I don't know how well this fits the Patterns Project . . . I think if you were to isolate the walker a bit more and get some space to the right you might have a good entry for the Alone project. Nice work.

There is a beautiful light on the beach and sea, while the first level has great contrast and neatess. Excellent Mitra! Cheers.

Mitra, I really like this photo! It has a wonderful mood and feeling of freedom! Just wish You had waited a few seconds more so the person was a little further along.About 1/3 of the way into the frame. I like how the tree tops seperate the image into two halves! The waves are calm and the mood is relaxing! Take care mitra! My best.....................John

Oh, thank you, Mitra!
I'm glad you were not offended. That would be the last thing I would wish to do!
Actually, the same thing happened to me, last night. I uploaded an image into Critiques Corner. I did not realise one thing in the image - a distracting light pole. A number of the viewers brought it to my attention. I kicked myself that I did not see it before I uploaded it. I really appreciated their comments and, consequently, I re-worked the image and loaded the amended version a couple of hours ago.
So, as you say, it's only through the comments, suggestions and recommendations of viewers on the site that we grow in our skill!
Cheers
Phil

Oh, Phil, I didn't expect it from you, I am so heartbroken now over this! No way, Jose :) I am just kidding you :). I truly appreciate your honest comments on my photos good or not so good, Phil. As the matter of fact, I like it when you bring it to my attention. In this case, I felt the same way as you do, and I only sharpen it one point and I got this result. I guess I needed to sharpen the other areas of the photo but the Palms :) but, didn't know how to do it without sharpening the whole photo. Please feel free to comment on my photos anyway you wish. This is the only way to improve and learn from the best among us! Thx always! Regards, Mitra

A lovely image, Mitra! What a lovely place to visit!
IMHO, the image appears to be a bit overshapened. This is quite evident in the palm trees. Please don't take this as a criticism, just an observation!
Take care!
Cheers
Phil
