That is too bad... I like this abstract, but it seems abit soft even in the area of focus to me. Also, it seems like the line dividing the two halfs goes right down the middle diagonally, maybe having it take up more of a along to bottom then extending to the top would be more effective, as opposed to having it go right down the middle.
This is a very nice abstraction of such a common object, Asley! Nice shadow-play, effective lighting and good exposure. No criticism on this shot from ME! ;)
Hi Ashley, it's similar to some ideas I've been playing with lately, I wonder if it's the same sort of subject. I like it but am slightly distracted by the black 'dot' which I find stops the eye from wandering deep into the big black hole. The other thing if I was to be really picky is the slightly shallow DOF, softening toward the lens. However, I know how tough it can be to work with and I'm still striving for perfection myself. It's good work though and if you're anything like me, you'll be coming up with stacks more too!
