Beautiful detail on this wild rose Dave!
Whenever I see one of these, I get flashbacks of one of my earliest memories. I remember Wild Roses growing in the sand dunes at the beach near South End UK. I must have been about 4 years old at the time. My parents hired a caravan (trailer) on the beach. Mostly I just remember the colour of the trailer and those wild roses.

I miss those wild roses (used to live in Alberta!) Beautifully captured, Dave! The composition is arranged so that there are some interesting lines, but most of all, I like the soft, yet detailed texture in the rose petals.

This is great Dave. I really like the rich saturated colors and the pink is such a great contrast from the green leaves. All the details are perfect as is the lighting as their is not one hot spot on the whole picture. Beautiful. Then again I am biased with florals!!!

Beautiful contrasting colours Dave and the pink, so difficult to capture sometimes but not for you on this occasion. The combination of the yellow bits (I must brush up the names of flower parts) and the petals is gorgeous. I love the details caught in the green buds and the the glimpse of the fine hairs or fuzz that grows thereon. Wonderfully detailed my friend and a perfectly lovely floral composition.
