About	The image has been messed about with photoshop quite a bit. The buddha image was also really grainy so hence the noise.

Hey there Gareth, I like this. I have posted some shots of a statue similar and played around with the crop and grain etc too.
I have always liked the serene faces of these statues and you have presented this one nicley.

a very fine and nicely mode perfect on details in the buddha-statue..
i like it!
just a fine idea for the b/w and the perfect sky composed that increase the mystic view..

Nevertheless the background seems to highlight the Budda, which it self presents with varied vertical tones contrasting with the more horizontal features of the background clouds.
