ok, be careful in dark alleys,and next time try to find an area with some street lights...what i do with night shots is to use a slow shutter setting and to brace myself against something cause my old tripod is too bulky and i rarely carry it along...some people say they have a night scene setting built in,so that may work,too
For what it is worth,paintshop pro8 or 9 is very easy to use and much cheaper than photoshop...

I did use flash as it was a really dark alley.. I tried to play, but I am just learning photo shop and am not too great with it.....

Did you use a flash here? like the look,dof and her bright hair,but there is a weird grey/blue shading by each side of her jaw...needs more definition in her complexion...she has beautiful eyes and lip shape
