Hi Joggie,
This is an absolute masterpiece for colors, composition, light and textures.
The blurry fore- and background balance the 2 in-focus flowers perfectly.

This is great Joggie! It makes one feel like you are crawling through a daisy field - which is what you must have been doing. :) Love the dof and high level of blurr on your foremost flower.

Thanks Hugo - The blue cast was caused by the low light conditions with those areas already in the shade. I first thought to correct it in PS but decided against it since I too liked the combination.
Regarding you not being a floral fan - I need to take you to the Namaqualand and/or Knersvlakte (Quaggaskop) once - the change will be permanent! Kind regards.

Hi Joggie, As you probably know, I'm not much of a floral fan, but this one might just change that for a minute or so. This is a great photo. To me, it's the blue cast over the stem and in the background in combination with the yellow petals that make it rock. Outstanding photo.

Susie is right: I really love this photo! Plenty of the things that I like more: flowers first, natural backlight, soft contrast, blurring progressive to a shadowy background. Colours are splendid: very well matching complementary yellow and green not disturbed but brighten up by the beautiful hue of cobalt blue. This mix of melted colours makes the photo, for me.
