Yes, of course! He and the legacy live on, but only because of the extraordinary activation of the brain due to your ideas - all of you people out there!
So, my California Kid, thank you for the input and the nice comment. And above all, of course, for contributing strongly to the survival of the Greek Philosopher ;-)
Thank you so much, Doyle! Nick

Wow . . . the Greek Philosopher legacy has passed through the ages and lives to this day! Meanwhile, the "California Kid" thinks . . . "Ooooooh, pretty!"

Thank you very much for the idea, Doyle! Indeed I wanted that kind of static exposition, being only influenced by the presence of the birds (life) and of the separation line between the darker and the light huesof water (flexilility) - just as if to say that the ability to be flexible, to move, to live, can and will conquer everything. Even the most static and frozen surrounding.
But your idea puts that in a very different and also very interesting perspective: What if the boundaries are themselves not so static as we think?
I really have to try that out! Thank you very much!
Regards, Nick

Well, Greeks and geometry... it seems to somehow work ;-)

Thank you very much for the kindest comment, Hugo! Indeed I wanted something really strict and geometric, and in the middle of it... simply life denying to obey and strict rules. The birds and the wavy separation line between dark and light water are in my eyes those moving, developing elements here.
Cheers, Nick

I agree with Hugo for the most part, however, I think it would have been better to move the four way line intersection up and to the right a bit. The off-center still carries more dynamic impact. Very creative though, and a good eye to find it.

Hi Nick, well spotted, and a good division of the frame into it's four quadrants. Because of the near perfect division, the birds manage to attract the attention, and I think it's very interesting to see how that manages to remove the static element in this composition. Cool shot, and a rather original approach. Good stuff!
Cheers,
Hugo
