Of course, that should read...

"Adult male Martins are the same colour on top & bottom (dark blue/purple)...."

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your kind comments! I am sure this is a swallow, because of the white underside. Adult males are the same colour on top & bottom (dark blue/purple) and the juveniles and females, though similar, don't have the white under their chins.

Hi Todd,
Very nice detail in this shot. I'm wondering if your sure this is a Swallow though?? It looks like a Martin to me. Anyway you did a wonderful job of captureing my faviorte subject....Birds.
