Thanks Saeed! I did notice that after comments were posted, made me want to take it down and re post. After processing I had a really dark blue sky which was un appealing when I decided to make the sky a llghter shade I must have missed that spot, Nothing gets by your keen eye :)

Hi Marcus,
Should've scruitinised this one before elaborating on backgrounds. This is exactly what I mean....:) The gradient and textures in the background really make this photo rock!
"It's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkies"... disregarding the fact that this is a Hawk, I think that applies to you, as I don't think anyone on UF can match your skills and expertise in this area, nor assist you in improving. Your bird photos are definitely way out of my league.

Another beautiful hawk image Marcus. I can't get over the strength in his legs! He must have been working out :)
I came across a Black Crowned Night Heron today. I managed to get close enough, and sure enough, my batteries went dead. Left my spares in my other coat. I'll get him next time. I've seen him in the area a couple of times now.

Super shot Marcus. Real sharp details. You certainly know how to use the light. Is this hand held? I'm just wondering how you move the camera around as fast as you need to if it is on a tripod.
