great shot Paul a well seen opportunity that so many would have walked by...stunning trast in the tulips and excellent Bokeh in the blossoms in the backgound...that could nearly be alliteration couldn't it a background of Bokeh blossoms... kekeke. No seriously a great realisation and excellent adddition to your portfolio well done

Looks like a shot by a "real man"! ;> Vibrant color, good proportions and excellent dof Not sure why, but the focus on the tulips look a tad soft and i would have thought with that dof and lens they would have appeared sharper...maybe cause it is ISO 800? I shoot only film, but heard once that with digital you need to shoot on lower ISO to net the best quality? still a beautiful shot nicely composed,Paul regards, gayle

No additional blurring, Sal. This was shot at max telephoto, and the focus point was set on the tulips. I took another shot with the trees in focus, but it lacked the punch of this shot.

Paul, did you use any kind of PS blurring behind the tulips because it is gorgeous and very natural looking. This is a very beautiful floral. Sal
