Super capture Paolo! Fitting in BW and great lighting, with the little dog appearing in the darkness from within. Seemingly minor, I would crop off about half of the wall on the right side, it brings more balance and focus to the rest of photo.

this picture makes smile :) and mostly i like the way how the dog stands and look exactly that direction as an old man...they seem to be very close souls...not without a reason is said that a dog is the closest and best friend of a man :)

Excellent portrait shot, lovely street feeling. Adorable

It's the dog that makes this image for me - just a little unexpected!
A lovely shot, though I wonder if you might consider cropping a little of the wall on the left - for me it adds nothing to the image and would help move the guy a little more off-centre.

great capture of this moment. good lighting and overall tone. I love the dog on the background coming out of the dark. He brings a lot to the shot. It's a bit to tight on the man I think, and a offcentre approach would have been better I think.
