Thanks, Joggie! I got nothing of the fight as I was walking away and unprepared. Has your brother had any success in getting the Panagor? Mine is still "in the mail." I did purchase, on trial, a Nikon TC-20E II, 2x Teleconverter for use with my 105mm VR lens. I still get the benefit of VR, sophisticated metering and balanced fill flash - but, understandably autofocus is not useable. I find the image quality at 2x macro is very acceptable and should keep it despite the price!
