Thanks, Rafi. Good to hear from you. This fellow looked for all the world as if he expected to be recognized at any moment and asked to lunch. In an earlier life, perhaps.

A great caption for a candid photo, George. The man looks like he has no hope left but to die as soon as possible, probably from drugs & the one in the backround completes the feeling by what seems to be a yawn. Thank you for your comment. Best regards, Rafi

Like how he is sitting very distinguished. Almost looks like Kurt Cobain.

Your instincts are quite right, Bill. This shot is one of several that I thought worth saving, but it was a stretch. ;-)

George: Normally I would (negatively) comment on the softness; but in this case, the softness and heavy grain structure exemplify this poor souls level of destituteness. Great journalistic capture in B&W...
Cheers,
Bill

A little later perhaps, poor guy, but at least he appears to be resting well..........

Excellent street shot, George! Quite a contrast between the man and the background, in a social sense, I mean. Dave.

Nice. I like the roughness of the image, that compliments the roughness of the man, and contrasts with the cafe scene in the background. The shoulder on the right bothers me a little, though.
