Thank you Lisa, the slide of this shot is a lot sharper than this one posted, I need to change a few things i'm doing in ps, and my shooting also, then i would not need to use photo shop to adjust to many things. Oh and this will be the last image i will be posting for a while, my scanner is acting up, i can preview but cannot scan. something to do with my, i don't know, a few problems. I have a Canoscan FS4000SU. Any way thank you Lisa, and keep shooting, you are getting there.

Have to agree that the photo is too soft -- does it look like this on the original or was it the scan? I still like it though. I really like this series you have going with photos of your wife. she is so pretty and has such neat expressions! I also think you are a marvelous photographer in many ways! Am I gushing too much? Yeah, well, I'm tierd :-) but I do really like your work. A little sharpness on this one and it will be one of your best so far on this site

I like the comp here but it is too soft Ray. Not that I know that much about portrait photography, but I do know that you have to have sharp eyes and a sharp mouth. You are fortunate to have a pretty model for a best friend!

Thanks Pat, I have not taken any shots of my wife in natural light yet, but i will when ever she's in the mood to pose for me. ( i won't hold my breath) I think this shot is to soft, and the light seems to harsh, so all comments are welcome on how to improve on this kind of in door shot. And thanks Pat for your helpfull comment.

I like the tight crop and the "I've got attitude" expression. I think I might like it better with natural light.
