pat I really love this picture. The colors are awesome. We have me once at Lisa M's daughter and my daughters birthday bash in September. I love your pictures and I am studying and would just love to talk to you some day. Casey was a beautiful dancer. I hope she is still dancing.

Congratulations, Pat! I am very enthused about the D200. I shoot RAW (NEF compression) and keep the sharpening set to off and sharpen in PS. I use the custom settings to set everything with auto off. I do that so that all bracketed and panorama exposures are processed the same. Any adjustments I make are in the RAW editor (Nikon Capture.) I find that I need less after camera sharpening on the D200 relative to the D70s. However, it is possible that the in camera sharpening settings are not as aggressive as on the D70s. To my eye, the D200 image quality is quite a level above the D70s. We will be discovering if this also holds true for reduced and compressed file sizes posted on usefilm. :) Eb

Thanks Eb. PS - The D200 will be here tomorrow. I read a review advising that on the D200 one should condier increasing sharpness setting over the default (too soft). Have you noticed this to be true?
