It's tastefully done and that's difficult to do with piercings. The contours of the figure are very pleasing to look at; very accurate color and textures.

This is an great idea compositionally. I really like the decision you made to use the low lighting because it did such a nice job in terms of the tones, which are wonderfully soft and subtle. Its a shame that the ring isn't razor sharp but its not a glaring problem in my mind. My only additional suggestion would be a small crop (no more than an inch) off the bottom to balance the space on the bottom with the space on the top. Still, its excellent work.

This image could look really effective in B&W with a slightly higher contrast level than in this colour version. I think that you would achieve a really interestingbalance of light and dark

I had to go long on the exposure because the only light I used was about a 60 watt table lamp. I do wish the ring has stayed in focus. I told her to stop breathing!
Thanks for the comments.

Is it me? Or does the belly ring seem out of focus? I like the black at the top of the image, the background. I think it might have looked better if the foreground was just as black. A shorter exposure would probably accomlished that. In fact, I would say that the out of focus is the model moving just a little bit during exposure. Just a question, but why a long exposure? I like the pose and feel of the image. The slight shadow on her hips giving her body a texture. Shyfox
