What a wonderful blustery wintery day to post a sunflower! Thanks PAL! Very good shot with the backlighting and colors. great detail in the plant itself. oh and of course there's the spider! wonderful job!

John, I thougt this was what you were calling the flower until I opened the thumbnail and looked around for a second. I think it's a nice shot of the sunflower, made special by the inclusion of that tiny spider.

I love the angle of this photo. Really nice lighting as well. Must have been a beautiful sunny day. Do you remember the aperature used here? Maybe it doesn't really matter -- it is still an awesome shot.
