Ace, I think it's time to add you to my Associates list! I passed through Abbottabad when I drove from Lahore to Gilgit in 1991. It was a spectacular journey and my only regret is that I was not able to see more of the area, due to the fact that my car expired near Gilgit and had to be sent back to Lahore on the back of a truck.

This is a striking image. I like the contrast of the brown of the track and the green of the field. There's a feeling of vast open space with the plain leading away to the mountains in the distance. Whereabouts in Pakistan was this shot taken?

The colours in this picture are vivid and lovely. It looks like everything has just been washed with a rainfall and now the sun has come out to make everything shine. I like how the the road leads off into the distant horizon, a land of misty hills and mountains and greater mystery. Your picture invites me to take that journey. Beautiful composition.

A very moody landscape Khanbhai. The pastel of the cloud alongwith the vibrant green of the grass produced a stunning colour contrast. Composition is excellent. The long beautifully textured trail graciously guide our eyes to the mountains.

Fabulous depth to this wonderful composition my dear friend. I love the sight of this long winding trail leading us to the trees and mountains in the distance. Ace, that's precious! The light and the colors of the sky stands in such a contrast to the earth, the grass, and that road, that almost shines. Especially that raod extending to infinity mesmerises the eye of the observer. Also, excellent details on the grass and the earth.

Great composition!! I like the mountains in the cloudy scene. This image really needed a gradiant ND filter to darken the sky enough to match the ground. If you don't have filters, taking two shots of the same scene, one exposing for the ground and the other the sky, then blending them together in Photoshop would give similar results. Cloudy scenes like this adds a dramatic feeling to the image.
