hahaha, ya Kelly, where would I be without you?? hmmm, well I'm reluctant to scan any more slides in because the colour is a little wonky on my monitor at the moment and the store was sold out of those new 17" lcd's that were on sale (naturally). So I think I might just hold off until I get a new one... So I guess you'll just have to keep hounding me!! :-P Have a great weekend too and "see you around"! Cheers, Gary

Thanks for the comment, Ahmed. Maybe you want to trade with me for a month or 2 in the middle of winter sometime?? hahaha... I used to live in the high arctic and winters were 8 to 9 months of the year... now I'm in a much more reasonable climate with only 4 to 5 months of snow. I like the seasons though. However, I'm sure I could enjoy myself in your neck of the woods for a month or 2! Cheers, Gary

Nice capture of the ice. Looking through your portfolio I noticed you live in a cold place. In my case its hot all throughout the year. Beautiful shot!!

Hey Kelly, thanks for the comment.... no, I did not break any off and eat them, not sure of the overall water quality as there is a town and old minesite upstream from these falls, and not to mention that this was shot almost fully zoomed in so it was just a bit far to reach! But I do eat snow (no not the yellow stuff) hahaha... The day wasn't all that warm... a little below the freezing mark or so. Hope you're having fun in the CA sun! Cheers, Gary (o:

Nice details. I like the multiple icecicles hanging from the large chunk of ice. Must have been warm at least on day. Did you break any off any and eat them.. I always have to eat icecicles. The water tastes better for some reason. Facinating to veiw. Kelly
