About Some more Holga loving. I like the suction effect here. Btw: "Ausfahrt" means exit. So maybe there is a way to get NOT sucked into unreality =)

I've been very busy the last weeks. Sorry for the lack of response and activity.

Finally! A "tunnel" picture with a different, unique, very interesting perspective ! ! ! Fantastic, and very appealing to the eye.

Congrats for an earlier FP FC award image!...meant to leave comment when i saw it on FP,but it was gone when i came back...
I am first attracted to the light and tone...the tilt works well in my opinion...nice repetitive shapes and a bit of mystery about what is just around the corner or at the end of the archway
hugs, gayle (i would have not guessed that this was a holga shot)

Great angle and very good detail captured throughout! Love the patterns on the inside of the arches, this is quite an effective shot!

The Holga suddenly seems perfect for this kind of shot--something I would not have guessed. The tonal quality fits the subject perfectly. And the tilt is super. Getting out looks like an uphill battle!!! Great job . . .

Best wishes,
--George

lovely shot, Thilo. I like the dislocated feeling and the patchwork effect of the stones. There is a subtle but strong effect cause by the tyre marks veering off into the direction of the exit. I think that is what creates that 'sucking' effect.
I just got my first Holga and am getting into it!

Haven't seen one of those signs in a long time. It does have a neat effect to it-a bit dizzying. Nice work~

Excellent architectural perspective with fine BW hue. The "Ausfahrt" inscription gives an ironic contrast to the slanting image. Best: György

Hey Magnus,

Got my D200 two weeks ago but need some weather for the beast =)
My main photo site is another one these days. So I thought it's a good idea to use UF as a toy story.

Thx for the critics!

Hello Thilo ! I'm not a big fan of the Holga hype but I really like this image....reminding me of German cinema in the 20s-30s....I'm expecting Dr. Mabuse to appear around the corner. Very moody with fantastic noir-contrast. I've been very inactive on UF....waiting for my Nikon D200 like a kid on christmas. I´ve also been invited to participate in an exhibition in Stockholm.....and I still have not recieved my D200

Bis später

Hi Thilo,
Your slanted images are starting to make my Vertigo flare up again. They really went crazy with the pattern in the brick work here, didn't they! Feels like Alice going through the looking glass viewing this one.

I love it, but then I love all of your work, wish you'd stop that, hahahaha..the tilt is nice, I get the feeling of going into (nice depth) and around the curve with the tilt. Very nice light and perspective, love the tones, great work as ALWAYS!!! Hugs!!

A mystic mood in here with the sign and message and the arrows, the "tunnel" and arcs - Holga make some of it too .... NICE work Thilo!

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique Hi Thilo! Good to see that there is a way out from this - as it looks - endless tunnel :) Is this the same place where you took "The eyes of a ..."? The heavy tilt to the left fits very well IMO as it is balanced by the exit to the right. Very good light/tones, intriguing mood & perfect compo. Excellent work!
