About More than 100 DC residents gathered at Freedom Plaza as well in front of the Marriott hotel to participate in the Equal Voting Rights for DC rally.
"Currently there are more than half a million Americans that live in DC that have no congressional voting rights," said Nadine Killebrew, a local DC resident. "They have no vote on jobs, health care, education or any other issues debated and voted on by congress, and that is not fair to my children or anyone else living in DC."
