I like this very much, Gil. And I like it the way it is. The composition is terrific, and I think any more natural light would alter the mood. The soft palette is terrific. Well done!!

hi Gil,

This is magic light. Love the rays, and how it diverts the attention from the right side of the image, introducing the atmosphere and the colours on the left. It makes me believe you could even crop out the trees on the left except for the utmost right one next to the shoulder of the road.

To me it creates the combination of the real path with an imaginary one, created by the spots of light. Very good exposure, too, although the lower left seems a bit too dark to me. Another reason to remove at least a part of the left side.

Don't want to place too much importance on it, though, as I do like it the way it is too, it's merely a different solution, not necessarily an improvement. Very captivating shot.

Cheers,

Hugo

Enhance this to bring back some of the lost detail in the shadows . . . Deepen the color saturation a hair . . . and pat yourself on the back--This shot is simply amazing!

The shafts of light thru the trees looks great & the atmosphere of the place. Overall image looks good but if I may add the only thing missing is a lone figure in the frame situated on of those light spots on the road, that would take the composition a cut above, regards.

Thank you Adnan. There is lack of detail in the shadows. On my printed version I corrected that but forgot to go to the jpg and bring out the detail. It's there and if I ever send another jpg it will be seen. Thanks, Gil

First of all this is great image!
Here come my critique, i think you lost so much fine details and color balance could be more natural.
Best wishes and good light
Adnan
