About used foreshortening to compress this image, and then photoshopped to get this shot. It's something I've visualized hundreds of times as I drive past this point. Finally had the time, so I snagged it. I like it.

Correct. I'm on the opposite end of the airport.

Ok, it must be far from you, this is the final approach instrument aids just at the threshold before touchdown point.
Wonderful and rare capture.

Thanks for the feedback, Laura.
Yes, the noise was intentionally added in post.

A creative photo idea. The image is a tad confusing for me, eg: I had trouble picking out the plane. There is a lot of noise, possibly due to post processing. Keep those creative juices flowing!

A little off-beat, maybe, but this is a very striking, pleasing image. I must disagree with Mark. The plane really completes the picture that would be quite routine--maybe even a little bland--without it. The plane is the visual pay-off that punctuates the visual movement from tower to tower. The painterly effect also serves the picture very well. Some people instinctively dismiss this kind of effect, but it is used here with such skill and discretion that it truly serves the picture well. Congratulations . . .

Regards,
--George

I think I would like it better if there wasn't a plane on the runway OR if it was up ., above these light stands coming in for a landing. If it was bare it would be a great abstract. I mean it's still good but the lack of the plane being more recognizable is a problem for me slightly. Mark
