About	This is possibly the last series I'll ever take with my trusty 10D. After this shoot we walked upstream a little and as I was getting a filter out of my bag, the treipod fell over into the river.... with the canon on it. the lens and camera are both soaked and drying out in the airing cupboard. This is the bigger of 2 waterfalls in Desolation Valley near Bolton Abbey

ha ha - well the thing's sat on the radiator looking a little cleaner than before - but quite folorne!

but it's new sibling, Mr 5D did arrive after all. NOt had much to shoot since 5PM when I got it, but it's certaibnly a quantum leap, not an upgrade!

ISO 1600 is pretty smooth! useable anyway.

the files are massive - the images even bigger, 4500 wide and 3000 high - or so.

Also went for the 24-105 L lens too, the other looks in worse state than the 10D.

just got to convince the insurance people that it was a genuine accident - 2 witnesses should help I guess.

roll on a sunset and some nice shots!

Ade wth your money you will probably go for a 5D or something like that- I am just repeating what I heard.
This is a cracking image with great tones and super composition.
Next time you have dust on the sensor use a blower brush rather than the river.
