Ina, I have been a westerner since 1970. So Ontario is more novelty than familiarity. By the way, at the liftbridge there was a row of carnival rides and vendors. They had a captive audience as the highway became considerably backed up whenever the bridge was up - which was almost always! It would have been great photographic opportunity! Eb

another fine image from you! I really like the details and perspective in this one. Thank you for your comment on my picture, and I agree with your view on photo enhancement. But only if it brings out the light better. My statement ment if you enhance the picture in that way that the original view of your eye is totally distorted. In traditional photography, light enhancement is also done, but then in the darkroom, i have no problem with this, only with filters and distortion. I like the picture to be pure and as close to reality as it can be. The light is best captured as it is in the original situation and not on the computer.

Thanks Ina. I remember the blossoms in the Niagara Region as I grew up in St. Catharines. I remember waiting hours (it always takes longer when you are young) waiting for that lift bridge at Burlington. Now I am giving away my age! I would love to be there at blossom time. Regards! Eb

I love that color green on the trees Eb, and the great perspective. I like the ground cover with shadows and the sky at the top of the branches. We have a good number of orchards around here too, but nothing will bloom till May :) Best regards, Ina

Nice perspective on the rows, Eb, and I like the light and shadow under the trees. Dave.
