Beautifully composed Don with amazing depth and clarity. The details and textures in the tree trunks are superb and the framing they supply to the Red Rocks is wonderful. Well done my friend for this excellent shot. I am behind due to poor health will catch you again soon. Best wishes as always....Ray

Thanks Lori, it looks much better with the red but in this area the rocks are just not that brilliant in reality.. I do like what you have done. Don.

Hi Don, LOVE the composition of this photograph, it's wonderful. The tree trunk and branch, masterfully used!!
I just couldn't resist fooling around with this one. I thought (my opinion of course...LOL) that Sedona's rock should be redder. So here is what I came up with! Hope you like it, Lori :)

Great landscape shot!! Wonderful colors, textures and view, good composition... well captured!!! I like the usage of the tree as a natural frame, but find the lower right side (under/next to the tree) not very interesting... so perhaps zooming in a little more to 'fix' that would be a sollution... but I just realised that you'd then probably lose the great diagonal... so hmmmm the jury is still out on that one... ;-D

Great photo, Don. The framing with the tree trunks is great--the dof is terrific. And the mountains against the sky are beautifully rendered. Excellent. All the best, --George
